In 2015 LignaTerra embarked on yet another Mass Timber project. Located on the outskirts of Boulder, this two story office building was assembled over the course of 8 weeks. Using a dedicated and skilled crew, alongside necessary tower and mobile crane machines, the project was considered “under roof” in 46 working days. The project implemented an open 25′ grid, allowing future tenants a flexible working space.
Architectural preference indicated CLT ceilings, Glulam columns and Beams, as well as a timber curtainwall to remain exposed. This strategy creates warmth and comfort for the day to day staff, and a cost-savings approach for the Owner / Developer.
